The Shared Living Group specialises in the provision of temporary / emergency accommodation and management across Dorset including Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth and are planning to expand the service into Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Devon, Cornwall , Somerset and Wiltshire.
Working closely with Local Authorities and other Agencies we provide secure managed accommodation for individuals, couples and families that find themselves homeless and require housing, including the ‘Everybody In’ directive from the Government in March 2020 following the COVID-19 lockdown, and the seasonal Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP).
Whilst challenging at times, we treat our guests with the upmost courtesy and respect, as we understand needing this type of service is stressful enough on top of all the other stresses in life that have led them to stay with us. Uniquely we also welcome pets as we understand they are also part of the family and in some cases the individuals only companion.

All our properties are maintained to a very high standard and our dedicated and trained staff, all of which are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked ensure all the properties and guests are safe and secure using the latest CCTV and Access Control solutions.
Each property has a dedicated house keeper and where appropiate a live-in night manager, we also have a 24/7 Support Line for any out of hours issues and requests.
We have developed a number of Web / App based technology solutions to digise and automate many of the required functions of running these types of properties, including; document management, ensuring the appropriate amount of time and effort is being spent in each room area linked to staff timesheets, this also includes bedding change required, maintenance tasks, guest and management feedback, this can then be forwarded by PDF including photographs to the relevant person to take action, including any of the Local Authories and Agencies that we work with so that they are fully informed of any situations.
We have also created an intuitive e-learning solution that is used by all staff to reinforce their training and fully understand the compliance required.
Managing Your Property
We are currently looking to work with owners of appropriate properties to offer a managed solution so that their property can be used to deliver temporary / emergency accommodation.
